Can I set a default directory for analysis files?

There have been a number of users requesting the ability to set the default data directory for analysis files. With versions DFA 9.2 and DFM Concurrent Costing 2.1 a feature has been added to let you set a data directory for new files.

1. With the software running, choose Set defaults from the Tools menu.
2. In the field 'Data file location' click the box.
3. In the dialog, navigate to the folder where you want to start your next new analysis.
4. Click a file of the file type associated with the application you are running, e.g. a *.dfm file if you are working in DFM Concurrent Costing.
5. Click the OK buttons in both dialogs to return to the main window.
6. Click New in the File menu (or on the Toolbar) and note that your specified directory is the path in the Title bar.
7. Note that opening files in other directories will reset this default data file location.
