What do I need to start using CAD model data in DFMA analyses?

For the DFMA programs Design for Assembly v.9 and DFM Concurrent Costing, you can import dimensional and other part data from CAD models through the program SolidView/Pro, version 3.55 or better. It can be purchased from Solid Concepts, Inc. (www.solidview.com). Depending on which modeling program was used to create the file, you can access the model directly with a SolidView plug-in, or by saving the file in .stl format.
